Insch School is a non-denominational and co-educational school situated in the heart of the village of Insch in Aberdeenshire, providing education for children aged 3-12, i.e.: from ante-preschool to P7.
The school comprises a nursery extension, main school building and our new extension is home to 4 class areas. The current roll is 420 pupils, 120 of which are nursery pupils.
The village and the surrounding areas of natural beauty offer a range of facilities such as Insch Leisure Centre, museum, two churches an 18-hole golf course and a community centre, many of which are accessed regularly by our pupils.
The school serves a catchment area which extends from Colpy in the North, to Duncanstone in the West. The school is dual zoned for Inverurie Academy and The Gordon Schools in Huntly and is part of the Huntly Community Schools Network (CSN).
The school community is very well supported by the PTA and the Parent Council.
The PTA has been very successful in planning a wide range of social and fundraising activities and is very supportive of the school.
The Parent Council is an enthusiastic and supportive group of parents who are keen to work with the parent body to ensure the school community flourishes.
